I do have and those patches I did not release to public yet.
I have patched X11R6.4 to the extent that compiles with MSVC 6.0
without problems. It compiles all
the libraries as DLLs, as opposed to orginal X consortium code
where most of the libs compile as static libs.
I could even compile Xprt, Xnest and Xvfb servers.
Xterm does not compile because MSVC has no pty's but I do have
a solution for that too.
Now if you are willing to help and write the DirectX/DirectInput you are
certainly most welcome. I would be glad to share the patches
with any one who is willing to take over the DirectX work. I do not
have any experience with DirectX/DirectInput so do not expect I would
be a big help in writing DirectX code.
