The following from your previous message:

gist: (WARNING) Unable to open X server (default)

What is default?  I do not understand.  It sounds like
X client problem.  Have you tried copying the needed DLLs from X
in the same directory as gist and yorik whatever?
Is your application an OpenSource code, which I could look into?
