Difficulty with Cynwin 1.1.8

Check in /xc/config/imake if you Makefile.ini.  If not then you need to
get it.
Most of the problems you had reported so far were related to 
corrupted source tree, which I think came from you mixing tar balls,
attempting to download CVS code on older source tree and whatever.
