If you have the test-version, you have to create your own xmodmap since
the returned keyscodes are based on the windows country settings.

If you have the stable version, the default modmap from xfree86 for 
linux should help. 

but anyway, if you work within XWin, you will learn the weird keymaping
very quickly.
