prompt colors in xterm

Ok change your PS1 from
export PS1='\e[1m\@ \e[0;31m\u\e[m \W \! #'
to
export PS1="\e[1m\@ \e[0;31m\u\e[m \W \! #"
note "" instead of ''you are using. If use your '' I get error on startup
bash: execvp: No such file or directory.
After changing ' " to " ", it works I can see colors. I will send you
screenshot directly
in a while. The xterm code which I am using under Cygwin is exactly same
as on Linux per say, or xterm code from xfree86.
