freezing xserver

Hello,

I've just downloaded and installed the latest Xfree package
from Cygnus under Windows Me.

Everything works fine for roughly one minute. After that, it
seems that the Xserver is freezing. In fact, my guess is that
the server is still alive but it doesn't accept/receive any
message comming from the mouse/keyboard.
What makes me thinking about that is that the x cursor
disapear when the server is "freezing".

I don't know exactly from where the problem is comming. I
scanned the list archives and I didn't find anything
relevant to my problem. Is this a well know problem ?
Does anybody already encountered this situation ?

By the way, I tried XWin95 comming from Cygwin as well as
the new shadow server from Harold Hunt. Both react the
same way. I also tried to change the resolution/color depth
but this doesn't improve things.
