Suhaib,

I applied your patches and rebuilt my entire Cygwin/XFree86 tree... however,
the fonts still did not install properly.

Here's the output I get:

PEXExtensionInit: Couldn't open default PEX font file  Roman_M
InitInput ()

Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
AbortDDX ()
ddxGiveUp ()

I'm not sure how fonts work with X, so I can't offer any insight.
