Harold,
lets do this in three steps
1. remove the win9x references, state compatability to be all win32
platforms (but not win3.x). Also update the requirement for cygwin1.dll
to
"cygwin 1.1.8 for windows NT and 2000; <please insert the url here> the
april 14th snapshot for windows 95,98 and ME).
Send me a diff when you've done that (cvs -z9 diff faq.html) I am slowly
reworking the layout of the faq to be more accessible... thats why I
want a diff, not you to commit.
2. Update your users guide. The filename references there are now
obsolete, as will be the requirements and probably many other minor
things.
(commit this yourself.)
3. Round table what needs changing.
