A quick question about xfce

Hi all,

I got the 4-14 binaries installed. The stock startxwin.bat runs on
Win95/98 cleanly and xcalc runs too.

Question: Why are the buttons such as [one] [two] [three] [four]
for each of the virtual screen missing all the words?

xfce seems be missing fonts. I reinstalled the fonts from the 
4-14 binary distro but all the buttons have no English words - an OK
button shows as a blank button. The help (i) button brings up the help
text but they are a bunch of squares where the words are located.
