cygwin/xfree86 window size and stalling problem

Have you updated to Cygwin 1.3.1, as opposed to 1.1.8?

Also, you may want to make sure that there are no 'start' commands in
startxwin.bat with a '/B' option... as '/B' is not supported on Windows
95/98/Me.
