Hi, the problem was that I tried to connect to the server as a user who has the tcsh declared as the default shell in /etc/passwd When I changed the default shell to sh, logging in from PC to server was succesful. Is it possible to configure xfree86 to allow the tcsh as default shell ?? Thanks, Uwe
