Cygwin-Xfree-Opendx Question

I wonder if he actually reinstalled or if he was using setup.exe to fix the
mount table, as I describe at:
http://xfree86.cygwin.com/docs/faq/cygwin-xfree-faq.html#q-error-font-eof

Does that seem like a good way to change the mount table mode?  It is the
simplest method that I have seen so far...
