[ANNOUNCEMENT] fork

The time has come to fork Cygwin/XFree86.

The new project is called X on Cygwin, and the initial materials for the
project will be located at:
http://www.msu.edu/~huntharo/xoncygwin/

While hosting arrangements are being made, an interim skeleton project has
been setup at SourceForge.net:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xoncygwin/
http://xoncygwin.sourceforge.net/

Feel free to contact me personally if you wish to be notified of project
events in the short term future, before a mailing list is established.

Goals of the X on Cygwin project:
1) Provide a stable open source X Server for Cygwin
2) Provide ample of documentation for users and contributers
3) Properly track copyrights and authors of each contribution
4) Accept contributions with a smile and encouragement to
	contribute again

I'll gladly accept any newcomers to X on Cygwin.
