the format is host:display.screen

display is listening port - 6000;
screen is used to access for instance a second crt

or - AFAIR - XWin :0 -screen 0 800x600x16 -screen 1 800x600x16

and you can connect to localhost:0.0 and localhost:0.1. By default it's
always screen 0.
