Two questions about configuration

Hi there
I use Cygwin/XFree86 with following options:

start XWin -screen 0 1280x1024x32 -engine 4 -blackpixel 0 -whitepixel 255 -kb -query myAIXmachine -fp tcp/myFontServer:portNumber

to connext AIX machine with CDE. My monitor uses 90Hz refresh rate.

When I use -fullscreen option, monitor is switched to 85Hz - is there any way to provide refresh rate to Cygwin/XFree?

When I use VisualAge C++ environment, some of mouse cursors are displayed as black rectangles - probably incorrect colors setting, 'cause sometimes I'm able to see light shape of the cursor in this box. Any idea?
