Re security policy

Given all the questions about this, why isn't this command run as part of the installation or a blank file put in that location to remove the error if there is no ill effect from doing so?

It is not an error, rather a warning, which you can ignore. To avoid seeing
it either copy a Securitypolicy file from Linux or from bash shell prompt:
touch /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xserver/SecurityPloicy
