GDB errors - the same problem with CVS

Ok.  That's actually good news.  Thanks for doing this.

Now the next step is to send your error to the gdb@sources.redhat.com mailing
list.  With luck, someone there will have some insight into this problem.

Unfortunately, although I manage gdb engineers, I don't have any understanding
about low level gdb.
