How do you change the xterm default shell?

Hi

Do you know where I could change the default shell in xterm to bash? I
realise I could set the Shell in .bashrc but it looks like I could make
it a general default if I were to edit something like the file in
/usr/x11r6/lib/x11/app-defaults/XTerm ??
