can my X-WIN 32 be causing my server shutdown prob?

If you are trying to run them at the same time, make sure they are using 
different display numbers.  By default they will probably both try and grab 
display 0.

I have successfully had both running on different display numbers at the same 
time, so I'm not aware of any other conflict.
