Xlib: No protocol specified (connection refused by server)

I figured out the strange 'pop3.norton.antivirus' entries.
NAV put entries in my hosts file with that as the name for
127.0.0.1. I added a localhost entry and now they show up as
localhost. So, that was just a red herring.
