Texteroids (Minor Retraction)

Ok,

I forgot the fact that building libdps depends on "strict motif" or gtk
libs, the former not being "open source" (nor legally available for
windows) and the latter still being ported to cygwin by Harold. I
apologize for the minor confusion, as I was still thinking in "linux
mode". For the curious, please check out:

<rant>
I do have some commentary regarding the so-called "Open Group". There is
nothing that pisses me of more then that oxymoron of a name. Yet another
example of academic innovation being commericialized for corporate greed
and profit (The last time I checked MIT did recieve government subsidies).
 Personally I feel like giving the "Open Group" the finger by porting the
motif sources to cygwin and providing to all interested for download.
Lets face it, lesstif is nice, but it is still not there yet in terms of
full compatibility. Frankly, the excuses used to classify cygwin as a
non-open source platform are splitting hairs in my opinion. But, again,
these are my opinions and you are free to disagree. I just felt I needed
to release some steam about this pet peeve of mine.
</rant>

Cheers,
Nicholas
