To whom it may concern:
I just installed Cygwin/XFree86 a week ago and it was working great. I
could use Cygwin/XFree86 to
access any of our Unix/Linux servers via XDMCP. But, it stops working
now. I will get the following message
at the end of "/tmp/XWinr1.log" when I issuse the following command from
Cygwin DOS shell:
XWin -query $name ($name is a Unix/Linux host)
(EE) No primary keyboard configured
(==) Using compiletime defaults for keyboard
Rules = "xfree86" Model = "pc101" Layout = "us" Variant = "(null)" Options = "(null)"
Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap
winBlockHandler - Releasing pmServerStarted
winBlockHandler - pthread_mutex_unlock () returned
Fatal server error:
XDMCP fatal error: Session failed Session 324128198 failed for display 0.0.0.0:0: Cannot open display
Here is my system information:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
Version 5.0.2195 Service Pack 3 Build 2195
Installed Cygwin infomation:
CYGWIN_NT-5.0
