keyboard repetition

Hi

since a while (sorry, can't be more specific) I have the following strange
behaviour:

sometimes, a key I press gets repeated. This happens most with 'Enter', but
also with 'dot' (in vi for instance). It doesn't happen in my Windows
applications, so I don't think it's the keyboard or so.
Anyone else seen this?

My system: NT 4.0 sp6a. Very latest cygwin+Xfree (downloaded last week), but
it happened before that already.
