Multiwindows problem

Sounds like the same WM_KEYUP event problem that was described in
<http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin-xfree/2003-05/msg00291.html>.  Especially if
it only happens with <Ctrl-D>, but not with "exit<Enter>".
