startx problem on Win-XP

You either have no fonts or they got installed to a strange place.  Look 
at the output of "mount" and see if that points to a valid path on your 
system.  Then run "cygcheck -cd XFree86-fnts" and check that you have at 
least the XFree86-fnts package.
