xterm hangs when connecting to Solaris 8 via ssh

Hi,

I'm running the cygwin X server on my win2k machine. 
When I open a local xterm and attempt to connect to a
Solaris 8 machine using ssh, the xterm and ssh session
hang.  I am able to use the same process to connect to
a linux machine and it works without any problems.  I
can ssh from a bash prompt (windows cmd window)
without any problems.

Has anyone seen this problem?
