Is 'less' module support the Euro symbol

Hi,

I forward my question in this ML, after a reply of Igor: Is the 'less'
module support the Euro symbol ?

If i start RXVT from XFree, 'less' do not display the Euro symbol... why ?
is-it a configuration problem ? is it a font problem ?
Note: I set the LESSCHARSET variable to latin9...

PS:  if i start RXVT from Windows and if I launch 'less', this one display
properly the Euro symbol...
