How to use ddd with XWindows?

After you've started XWindows run "DISPLAY=:0.0 ddd main_assert.exe"

The DISPLAY environment variable is important you can set it with
export DISPLAY=:0.0 in bash or setenv DISPLAY :0.0 in tcsh.
