X11 becomes unresponsive. VERY unresponsive.

I got rid of the ATI programs.  cygwin/X lasted for awhile, and then
"hung" exactly as before.

Entire PC 100% idle.

Have you experienced any trouble with hyperthreading (feature of
latest Intel CPUs)?  I am using that feature.
