fatal error

Dear Cygwin staff:
Im a new user of Cygwin. I was trying to run Grass under Cygwin but when 
I type startx in the comand console a fatal error occurs. The description is

_XSERVTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.X11-unix should be set to root
