Yaakov,
This mail is followed by a series of patches, mainly fixing cosmetic issues in
-multiwindow mode. This is incremental to my patchset of 20081218
* Revert to making transient windows resizable. From WM_NORMAL_HINTS, try to identify
windows which shouldn't be resizable and make then non-resizable.
http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin-xfree/2008-12/msg00172.html
* Adjust MOUSE_POLLING_INTERVAL to 50ms to improve tracking of the pointer when it isn't
over an X window
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11132
* Capture the mouse on mouse button down inside an X window so we continue to track if
the pointer strays outside the window
* Fix keyboard handling for speech recognizers (untested)
http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin-xfree/2009-01/msg00047.html
* Add timestamps to log output, as sometimes suggested
* Fix XWarpPointer in multiwindow mode
http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin-xfree/2009-01/msg00056.html
* This also includes a patch to unmap minimized windows in multiwindow mode to fix the
tooltip punch-through problem, which still seems to be around. Unfortunately this
depends on the changes in 1.5-hint-handling-skip-taskbar.patch, so you might well want
to hold back on this one.
For convenience this patch-set is also avaiable at
