changing font

Only the second has the potential for affecting xterm.
But there's no match for "XTerm.font".
Depending on how it is compiled, these can match:

XTerm.vt100.font
XTerm*vt100.font

(the latter can match an intermediate level, which is used in the 
configuration that provides the toolbar/menubar).
