Chris,

Here is some info verifying my version of cygwin1.dll:

1) from /etc/setup/installed.db
cygwin latest/cygwin/cygwin-1.1.8-2.tar.gz 666115

2) output of cygcheck -v cygwin1.dll

$ cygcheck -v cygwin1.dll
Found: f:\cygwin\bin\cygwin1.dll
f:\cygwin\bin\cygwin1.dll - os=4.0 img=1.0 sys=4.0
  "cygwin1.dll" v0.0 ts=2001/1/31 7:08
  C:\WINNT\System32\KERNEL32.dll - os=4.0 img=4.0 sys=4.0
    "KERNEL32.dll" v0.0 ts=1999/2/28 15:47
    C:\WINNT\System32\ntdll.dll - os=4.0 img=4.0 sys=4.0
      "ntdll.dll" v0.0 ts=1999/2/25 16:15

3) output of uname -a

$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-4.0 HOLSTEIN-MOBILE 1.1.8(0.34/3/2) 2001-01-31 10:08 i686 unknown

Also, I haven't touch the registry wrt heap size. Is it possible that the
problem is caused by Harold using 1.1.7 to build this with?
