Apparently not thouroughly enough to figure out you're the webpage
maintainer... ;-)

The reason for asking about this is not to slim a Cygwin-installation, but
rather to make it as easy as possible to install the application on a
non-Cygwin machine.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take them all into consideration.
