Holger,

It is great to hear that Test 17 is working for you!

Alexander and I are hashing out a final solution to AltGr handling.

Test 17 is built with the GLX and SGI-GLX extensions.  You can get a list of
the installed extensions by running 'xdpyinfo'.

I'm wondering if your application is looking for a DirectColor visual as
opposed to a TrueColor visual?  Could you check into what sort of visual
your application expects to use with GLX?
