Hi, I have question on cygwin configuration.

I have created a .profile file with the following lines:
Export PS1='$<HOSTNAME>:$<PWD>:>'

To see the working directory in my prompt, but it does now work and it
displays $<HOSTNAME>:$<PWD>:> as prompt.

How can I make it to work?

I have Windows 2000.  I don't if that makes difference..
