JS,
This is not a solution, but a workaround that'll allow you to paste into
an xterm: run "cat >/dev/null" first. Then paste into "cat", select and
paste into Windows, then press Ctrl-C to get out of "cat". If this is a
frequent problem, you might want to simply keep the xterm around with
"cat" running, and use that for all your pastes.
