Kensuke,

Okay, I will get rid of the #ifdef X_LOCALE stuff.

Do you know of any reason why the Multi Window WM needs to be calling 
setlocale in the first place?  Can I just take it out?  The clipboard 
manager certainly needs it, but is it just not needed for the window 
manager?
