startx (still) hangs at startup

I actually just finished testing a fix posted by Alexander Gottwald to
another user with a similar problem (I assure you I searched the posts
in detail before posting my problem, but overlooked this one). He
suggested placing -kb in the XWin command line. This worked! Thanks
for getting back to me.
