Hello,

I am trying to build the Cygwin/X following the instructions in the
Cygwin/X Contributors Guide.

When I run

./configure --prefix=/usr

the last few lines of output are:

checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... (cached) yes
checking for pkg-config... no
checking for flex... flex
checking lex output file root... lex.yy
checking lex library... -lfl
checking whether yytext is a pointer... yes
checking for bison... no
checking for byacc... no
checking for special C compiler options needed for large files... no
checking for _FILE_OFFSET_BITS value needed for large files... no
checking for cpp... /usr/bin/cpp
checking if /usr/bin/cpp requires -undef... configure: error:
/usr/bin/cpp defines unix with or without -undef. I don't know what to do.

Any help to get past this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom
