Hans, The latest XWin includes the keyboard auto-detection. Without any XF86Config files or xmodmap mappings it loads a default es layout for you. It may be good to disable CDE (and any other) keyboard setting and let XWin do the work entirely. Takuma Murakami (murakami@ipl.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp)
